  1. Foundations Greetings, Farewells, Courtesy Hola, Buenos días, Adiós, Por favor, Gracias, De nada , Lo siento, Sí, No. Personal Pronouns (Yo, Tú, Usted), Ser (soy, es) for "I am/you are"
  2. The Basics Identifying People & Things ¿Quién? ¿Qué? Hombre, Mujer, Baño, Agua, Comida. Definite/ Indefinite Ar􀀁cles (el, la, un, una), Basic noun gender.
  3. Getting Around Asking for Directions & Numbers ¿Dónde está...? (Where is...?), Izquierda, Derecha, Recto, Números 1-20. The verb Estar (to be for location): está.
  4. Eating & Drinking Ordering Food & Drinks La cuenta, por favor. Quiero... (I want...), ¿Tiene...? (Do you have...?), Menu items. Intro to "gustar": Me gusta (I like).
  5. Shopping Transactions & Money ¿Cuánto cuesta? (How much?), Caro, Barato, Dinero, Tarjeta, Efectivo. Numbers 20-100.

  • I can greet people and be polite.
  • I can ask where the bathroom is.
  • I can order a drink or a simple meal.
  • I can ask for the price of something and understand numbers.

Duration:

  • Each evening course is made of 8 x 1 1/2 hour weekly classes running for over 2 months at the same time and day of the week as its listed course start date. There are no classes on Public holidays.
